Lady Peggy Akufo is the leader of the Sunrise Prayer Line in the US. She has served alongside her husband in pastoral ministry of The Apostolic Church for over twenty years until their retirement in 2018.

Lady Peggy Akufo has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Management from University of Massachusetts, Lowell. She also holds a Certificate in Biblical Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts. She is a certified Prepare-Enrich Marriage Counselor.

She has served in ministry as a Deaconess since 1994. Together with her husband they’ve planted four churches for The Apostolic Church in New England region of the US. She was the first North America Women’s Movement Leader of The Apostolic Church and organized the first North America Women’s Movement Convention. She served as the first Principal of TAC Bethsaida Children’s Sunday School where she setup age-appropriate classrooms and materials. She has deep passion for youth and children.

She worked in various positions in the Banking industry until she left to devote herself full-time to ministry work in 2000.
