KWABENA DAUTEY AKUFO (APOSTLE DR.)

Apostle Dr. Kwabena Dautey Akufo retired as USA Area Superintendent of The Apostolic Church in 2018. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Apostolic Church Theological Seminary (ACTS) located in Kumasi, Ghana.

He has a Doctor of Ministry and a Master of Arts in Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Hamilton, Massachusetts.

He also has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Prior to serving in Pastoral Ministry, he was an engineer in the computer industry for over 20 years becoming a Vice President & General Manager of the Internetworking Engineering division of Tellabs, a Telecom equipment production company.

While he was in the computer industry, he taught Computer Science as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Lowell and then at Boston University.

He is the author of three books:

  • Issachar Anointing
  • Utter Mysteries to God
  • Apostolic Minister’s Handbook

 

Apostle Dr. Akufo is married to his lovely wife Peggy.

They have three wonderful adult children, and three grandchildren.
